why our words matter

You’ll probably notice that all of our fun products feature words…. inspirational words, empowering words, loving words, affirming words, delicious words. That’s because we believe that our words affect our focus. The words we say, the words we think, the words we wear, the words with which we surround ourselves on our tee shirts and gaze at on our water bottles, the words we notice around us all day affect the direction of our thoughts—our focus. And we believe our focus creates our reality. We are both living proof of that.

Now consider the next level… have you seen the movie “What the bleep do we know?”? Have you heard of the Japanese scientist Masaru Emoto? He did experiments in which he surrounded some bottles of water with inspirational and uplifting words and other bottles of water from the same source with negative and degrading words. He then froze that water and took photos of the ice crystals that formed. What he found was illuminating! Water surrounded by positive, uplifting words created beautiful ice crystals, while water surrounded by negative, degrading words either didn’t form crystals at all or resulted in deformed formations.

Could words, themselves, in written form, really affect water so profoundly? Consider then that we, humans, are made up of over 70% water. What a great reason to surround yourself with words of possibility and empowerment and love!

Imagine the power of the words that surround us… the psychological power of words to affect our focus and intention… the physical power of words to affect our very molecular being. So what kind of words do you want to surround yourself with?

To learn more about Dr. Emoto’s experiments, check out his book, The Hidden Messages in Water. And for a truly mind-blowing romp into endless possibility, check out the movie, “What the Bleep do we Know?”. It’s a “must see,” many times over.
